Intricately weaving the skills of the past into future generations.
Tappin’ Toes (2 - 6 yrs)
Developed especially for this age-group with clear instructions and great music for an
exciting class! Children are introduced to the fundamentals of percussive dance
including tap, step, and clogging. This is an energetic class with lots of body movement
and rhythm techniques enjoyed by boys and girls! Kids are dancing after the first lesson!
Eight week class: Wednesdays, September 26th to November 14th. 4:15 to 5:15 pm.
Cost: $8.00 per class or $60.00 for full payment.
Rockin’ Rhythms (7 - 11 yrs)
This amazing class provides the foundations of rhythm and movement in percussive
dance. It is easy enough for the younger crowd, but also challenges the older kids. The
instruction also includes a history of the stages of percussive dance. Get your feet
moving with tap, clogging, stepping, and body rhythms!
Eight Week Class: Wednesdays, September 26th to November 14th. 4:15 to 5:15 pm
Cost: $8.00 per class or $60.00 for full payment.
Clogging (12 yrs and up, or younger with previous experience)
Geared for the kids 12 yrs and up, this class is taking some old American steps into the
future! Exciting traditional and contemporary footwork for clogging is taught to a wide
variety of music! It's perfect for steppers, hip-hoppers, hoofers, tap, and rhythm
lovers! This class ROCKS!
Eight Week Class: Wednesdays, September 26th to November 14th. 5:30 to 6:30pm.
Cost: $8.00 per class or $60.00 for full payment.
SPECIAL ADVANCED CLASS (14 yrs and up, or special
consideration for younger)
Prior dancing instruction is a must as this is a very fast-paced class designed to add
advanced steps to your current routines! Or, come to simply add a new dimension to
your dancing and rhythm skills!
Cost: $10.00 per class or $76.00 for full payment.
This class is offered after at least three people sign up. Days and times to be determined
by students and parents.

| -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Heritage Academy of Music and the Arts is a non-profit organization created by members of Peace in Christ Lutheran Church to provide music, dance, and the arts to all children regardless of ability to pay. In addition to class costs, we do require a non-refundable registration fee as follows: Semester (Sept & Jan): $25.00 ($30.00 for 2 children, $35.00 for 3, etc) Yearly: $45.00 ($55.00 for 2 children, $65.00 for 3, etc) This will be returned if your class is cancelled.
