Debra Bolthouse
Along with being Certified in Early Childhood Education and Development, Debbie has
an extensive background in folk and percussive dancing.  She has been dancing since the
age of four when  her parents, Gene and Alice Maycroft, began a square and folk dancing
group, The Maycroft Square Tappers International Folk Dance Troupe.    Debbie has
been  a performer,  teacher and choreographer for the Michigan group,  that still brings
crowds to their feet when they perform.  She was also the founder and director of a
Michigan clogging group called The Lumbertown Cloggers.  Her  creative choreography
has included genres from dancing with the symphony to high school marching bands.  

Debbie's diverse knowledge and expertise have made her a much sought after teacher
and director.  Her extensive teaching career has spanned preschool to college levels,
and dance instruction and activities with the handicapped.
Debbie has shared her enthusiastic teaching and dance style  at venues throughout the
United States, Canada, and England, Ireland, Wales, Belgium, Germany and Austria.  

Debbie  is  the co-founder of
HAMA and an active member of  Peace In Christ Lutheran
Church.
